Brookhouse WEEK 4 Summer Holiday Club 2025

Indigo Arts and Crafts is an award-winning, unique holiday club experience for children of school age in the local area.

Our founding holiday club is nestled in a beautiful semi-rural spot in the Lune Valley just a short drive over the Bay Gateway, we take a holistic approach to creativity, with a strong emphasis on nature and the world around us and a wide variety of creative activities that take place both indoors in a spacious community hall and outdoors in the expanse of surrounding greenery. We wanted to replicate this in the Garstang area and were delighted to find such a venue tucked away in the little village of Churchtown.

Children get the chance to use their imagination creatively through a wide range of fun and engaging, artistic and nature-themed activities from painting to junk-modelling, nature trails to Bushcraft skills, pottery to baking, garden-themed crafts to guest workshops delivering exciting, hands-on, enrichment experiences.

Indigo Arts and Crafts Holiday Club aims to 'inspire young minds creatively' where children leave with new skills, friendships and lots of happy memories.

Successfully running after school and holiday clubs in the Lancaster area for the last 19 years, our Creative Coordinator and Founder, Bobbie, has combined her love and profession of working with children and creativity, to create Indigo Arts and Crafts, developing and evolving year by year to make it the success it is today, in it's tenth year.

Our qualified, senior staff members have well over 60 years experience collectively, having worked with children from 0-18 in a variety of both private and educational settings, hold relevant qualifications, are regularly trained in First Aid, Food Hygiene, Youth Mental Health and hold Enhanced DBS checks. We all share a collective passion for bringing happiness and inspiration to the lives of children, through arts and crafts.

For Summer 2025, Indigo Arts & Crafts Holiday Club will be running:

Full days for four weeks in Brookhouse and two weeks in Churchtown:

Brookhouse: Monday 21st July - Fri 15th August

Churchtown: Monday 28th July - Friday 8th August

9am-4pm at £25* per day (for one child) or £100* for a full week (Mon-Fri). Full days at holiday club are open to children aged 5-13, with half days during this 4 week period available for 4 year olds only. Early drop off and late pick up is also available for a small additional cost for children age 5-13.

At our Brookhouse holiday club, a limited number of HAF-funded places will also be available each day for children who receive income-related free school meals. Lunches can also be provided for children on funded places, provided they have been pre-ordered and confirmed within the allotted timeframe.
