GARSTANG October Half Term Holiday Club 2025

Indigo Arts and Crafts is an award-winning, unique holiday club experience for children of school age in the local area.

Our founding holiday club is nestled in a beautiful semi-rural spot in the Lune Valley just a short drive over the Bay Gateway, we take a holistic approach to creativity, with a strong emphasis on nature and the world around us and a wide variety of creative activities that take place both indoors in a spacious community hall and outdoors in the expanse of surrounding greenery. We wanted to replicate this in the Garstang area and were delighted to find such a venue tucked away in the little village of Churchtown where we ran for the first time in summer this year.

Children get the chance to use their imagination creatively through a wide range of fun and engaging, artistic and nature-themed activities from painting to junk-modelling, nature trails to Bushcraft skills, pottery to baking, garden-themed crafts to guest workshops delivering exciting, hands-on, enrichment experiences. For October half term, we will be linking activities to autumn and other seasonal events such as Halloween and Bonfire Night.

Indigo Arts and Crafts Holiday Club aims to 'inspire young minds creatively' where children leave with new skills, friendships and lots of happy memories.

Successfully running after school and holiday clubs in the Lancaster area for the last 19 years, our Creative Coordinator and Founder, Bobbie, has combined her love and profession of working with children and creativity, to create Indigo Arts and Crafts, developing and evolving year by year to make it the success it is today, in it's tenth year.

Our qualified, senior staff members have well over 60 years experience collectively, having worked with children from 0-18 in a variety of both private and educational settings, hold relevant qualifications, are regularly trained in First Aid, Food Hygiene, Youth Mental Health and hold Enhanced DBS checks. We all share a collective passion for bringing happiness and inspiration to the lives of children, through arts and crafts.
